For three consecutive days, students, along with tutors, will have the opportunity to cruise through mesmerizing architectural exhibits in a deeply engaging activity.
Who we are
Share Summer School
At its first edition, SHARE Summer School Venice aims to infuse the educational desires of students with the professionalism of the SHARE community within one unique experience; to cultivate, inspire and boost the new generations of architects. SHARE Summer School, is dedicated to architectural students in the terminal years and beyond, and takes place between 13th-18th of September 2020. Students enrolled in the school have the unique opportunity to work along and learn from international prestigious architects from the 11 biggest architectural offices worldwide. .
Course info
How is this course organized
Design workshops in english
Number of hours: 4-5h/day.
Groups: 20 students/design atelier.
Structure: each design atelier is conducted by a team of 2 tutors.
Aim: design a project for a multifunctional cultural centre inspired by the Venetian architecture.
Award ceremony of the created projects.
Office tutors presentation
Each architectural office will have its own conference where knowledge is shared, curiosities are asked and experience is learned.
Biennale of Architecture
3-days visit together with the tutors.
The evaluation and award ceremony will take place within the Biennale.
SHARE International Architecture and Engineering Forum
SHARE Venice 2019 will bring together prestigious names from the architecture field during one immersive experience.

Who can participate?
- students in the terminal years of a Bachelor in Architecture and akin subjects
- students who have finished the years of Bachelor and are following a next degree
- students with a sufficient language skills in English ( B1>)

Outside the classroom
Networking evenings
During 3 evenings the tutors will each make an intriguing presentation of their practice followed by a pleasant evening of socialization with the purpose of building genuine personal connections.
Welcome party
On arrival day students will have the chance to get to know each other, bond, share stories and have fun during the official opening party.
Biennale of Architecture
For 3 days the students will visit along with tutors the Biennale of Architecture which will provide them with an insightful experience for both the creation of the projects, as well as for their future career.
Site study in Venice
In the endeavour of creating a project from scratch, students will study the Venetian architecture and cultural buildings that will serve as an inspiration basis for their own architectural works.
Summer school awards
Because we believe that the future can be shaped through architecture the students’ projects will be analyzed and awarded by a committee of international architects.
Leadership Workshops
On the last saturday of the Summer School, students will have open access to Leadership workshops organized by senior prestigious architects for professionals in the architecture domain. The themes which will be approached range from “Management” and “Communication” to “Finance” in the field of architecture. Architects will present their innovations in the field of architecture which will come to the help of young professionals.
SHARE Conference Venice 2020*
SHARE International Architecture and Engineering Forum will be organised in Venice at the end of the Summer School. With more than 15 annual editions in 12 East European countries, SHARE Forums have become a meeting point for excellence in architecture with prestigious international speakers from all around the world. Students are welcomed to participate in the audience and partake at the lectures which will be held on that day.

Prepare you documents
Before applying online, check that you have all the documents ready. You need to prepare a high-resolution picture of you, a copy of your Passport/ID, the proof of enrollment from your University, and your CV.
Fill in the registration form
Fill in the registration form and upload all prepared documents where indicated. Besides the prepared documents, please download the 2 documents where indicated, read and sign them, and upload them scanned in order to complete the registration.
Confirm enrollment
In maximum 2-3 working days, you will receive a confirmation E-Mail and the steps towards making the payment and finalising the enrollment procedure.
